CAMP SPRINGS, Md. (WUSA9) -- Prince George's County Police say they are investigating a fatal accident, which took place on Thursday in the 6900 block of Allentown Road in Camp Springs, Md.
Prince George's County Police says that the accident involved three vehicles. Reportedly a vehicle traveling west bound on Allentown Road crossed the double yellow line and crashed a vehicle, which then steered off and collided into a third vehicle.
Officials say the driver of the initial car that crossed the double yellow line was declared dead at the crash scene.
According to officials, the driver of the the third vehicle was hit in the head. She had to be extricated from her vehicle and flown to a local trauma center for treatment, officials say.
Reportedly, the driver of the vehicle that was hit by the first car was not injured.
