PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, Md. (WUSA) --Three people were seriously injured in car accident on Tuesday, Prince George's Fire Department Spokesperson Mark Brady tweeted.

The accident took place on Landover Road (RT 202) at the Baltimore-Washington Parkway.

Three ambulances and two medic units responded to the scene, were two people were trapped and extracted from a vehicle, Brady informed.

Three people in all were transported to an area trauma center with serious non-life threatening injures.
