CROFTON, Md. (WUSA) --A routine traffic stop on Route 3 South in the area of South Main Chapel Way in Crofton, Md., turned into a drug bust.
According to officials, an officer stopped a Volkswagen Jetta on Wednesday for a traffic violation when he smelled a strong odor of suspected marijuana coming from the car.

Officials say they found 44 grams of marijuana with an estimated street value of $440 from the car and people inside.
Victoria Allison Boyer, 32, of 13900 Mount Oak Court, Mitchellville, Md., was arrested and charged with drug-related offenses, as well as 29-year-old Daniel Enrenrique Olaya of 11218 Fruitwood Drive in Bowie, Md.
