SEAT PLEASANT, Md. (WUSA) - The death of a 31-year-old Washington, D.C., man who died of gunshot wounds after being shot in Seat Pleasant is being investigated as a murder, according to Prince George's County Police.
James Sharod Darnell of the 2200 block of Savanah Terrace in Southeast Washington was shot on Nov. 16. Police responded to a report of a shooting at approximately 11:50 p.m. in the 5600 block of Martin Luther King Jr Highway in Seat Pleasant.
Officers found Darnell suffering from gunshot wounds. He was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Police are trying to identify a suspect(s) and motive in this case.
