PASADENA, Md. (WUSA) -- A 23-year-old Maryland man faces three drug-related charges after detectives seized suspected marijuana, heroin and drug paraphernalia at a home in Pasadena.
According to police, on Wednesday at approximately 7:49 p.m., a tactical narcotics team executed a search and seizure warrant targeting drug violations in the 2300 block of 229th Street. Police say team members seized approximately 3/4 pounds of suspected marijuana a small quantity of suspected heroin, drug paraphernalia, and $220 cash.
Twenty-three-year-old George Nelson Slaughter of Pasadena was arrested and charged with Possession and Possession with Intent to Distribute Marijuana, CDS Possession Not Marihuana and Possession of CDS Paraphernalia.
