SILVER SPRING, Md. (WUSA) -- Montgomery County fire officials say that on Monday night, a tree fell into apartments and displaced more than a dozen people.

According to Captain Oscar Garcia, crews were called at 10:27 p.m. for a tree into apartments at 22 Manchester Place in Silver Spring, accompanied by a gas leak. Fourteen adults and 3 to 6 children were displaced.

There were no reported injuries.
