WASHINGTON (WUSA) -- A Pepco crew is on the scene at North Capitol Street and G Street NE where DC Fire Officials reported smoke coming out of a manhole on Monday.

Officials say no customers were affected by the smoking manhole, but some traffic lights are out and North Capitol and H Street NE are shut down in both directions.

The investigation is ongoing.
