WASHINGTON, D.C. (WUSA) - One man was shot and survived in Southeast D.C. early Monday morning while another man was shot and killed in Southeast just a few hours later according to the D.C. Police.
The first shooting occurred at 19th and Trenton Place in Southeast in what MPD reported as a robbery. MPD was dispatched to the scene at 12:30 a.m. to find the man, who had been shot in the leg, conscious and breathing.
The second shooting took place at 1200 C Street Northeast. Police say they were dispatched at 2:15 a.m.. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene, where MPD says they found him inside a vehicle with gunshot wounds in the abdomen or back.
