WASHINGTON (WUSA9) - The slow-moving area of low pressure to our south will continue to push toward the east. During the overnight hours, most of the storm system's energy will move away from the Beltway, leaving us with a hot and humid Tuesday. We can't rule out an afternoon thunderstorm, but most of Tuesday and Wednesday will be rain-free, very warm and sticky, with partly cloudy skies. More storms arrive on Thursday as a strong cold front moves through.
