SPOTSYLVANIA COUNTY, Va. (WUSA9) -- Spotsylvania County officials say they have arrested the stepson of a man who died from stab wounds. The stepson and his girlfriend are now charged with murder and conspiracy to commit murder, say authorities.
At approximately 10:25 p.m. Sunday, deputies responded to a stabbing call in the 100 block of Wakeview Drive, say sheriff's office authorities. They found Robert Jones, Jr., of Spotsylvania suffering from multiple stab wounds. Authorities say he was transported to Mary Washington Hospital, where he later died of his injuries.
Detectives examined the scene and followed leads, which led to Jones' stepson, 23-year-old David Edward Sealock, Jr. and his girlfriend, 28-year-old Michelle Leigh Soderberg, both of Spotsylvania. Authorities say they were located at a motel room in Stafford County and taken into custody without incident.
