WASHINGTON (WUSA9) -- Washington Animal Rescue League has a new pet of the week.
Davidson is 8-week-old pup who hitched a ride from New Orleans in the hope of a better chance at a new life in the nation's capital, says WARL.
As with most rescued dogs, the ancestry of Davidson and his littermates, Danny Boy and Dixie Cup, remains something of a mystery, but they appear to be German shepherd mixes, according to WARL. All three are friendly, inquisitive, and playful as only puppies can be.
If you have the time and commitment necessary to teach a puppy the skills needed to become a great canine companion, then stop by the Washington Animal Rescue League and meet Davidson and his siblings. They'll return your investment with a lifetime of love and loyalty.
