LAKE RIDGE, Va. (WUSA9) -- A person was seriously burned in a 2-alarm house fire in Prince William County, fire officials said. 

It happened at around 9:00 p.m., at 2912 Madeira Court, in Lake Ridge, officials said.

The fire quickly went to two alarms and burned all the way through the roof, officials said. 

A medical helicopter landed at a nearby high school, to fly the victim to the hospital. 

The fire was knocked down within 20 minutes, officials said.
