GLEN BURNIE, Md. (WUSA9) -- Police are investigating a stabbing that took place early Monday morning on the 100 block of Warwickshire Lane in Glen Burnie, Md.
Police say they learned that the 29-year-old victim and the suspect, 32-year-old Selvin Dagoverto Rivera-Ramos, were both at the same apartment party when the victim went outside the building, and was attacked by Ramos with a broken bottle before Ramos fled the scene.
Police say the victim was taken to Harbor Hospital with non-life threatening injuries while officers and a K-9 unit searched the area, but the suspect wasn't found
Officers say they located Ramos at the 5300 block of Pennington Avenue in Baltimore, Md. a few hours later.
Based on witness interviews and evidence, police say they charged Selvin Dagoverto Rivera-Ramos with First and Second Degree Assault, Malicious Destruction of Property and Reckless Endangerment.
