Ashley Caroline Reid charged with offenses that included theft, illegal possession of the prescription medication and fraud in St. Mary's County, Md.
(WUSA) -- A pharmacy tech has been charged with theft and fraud after a customer reported not receiving the correct number of tablets for their prescriptions, say St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office authorities.
The customer called an officer and detectives investigated, which lead to the discovery of additional victims, according to sheriff's office authorities.
Authorities say 25-year-old pharmacy technician Ashley Caroline Reid of Leonardtown is now accused of stealing Oxycodone and Percocet tablets as prescriptions were being filled. She is charged with offenses that included theft, illegal possession of the prescription medication and fraud.
