WASHINGTON, D.C. (WUSA)-- The body of 18-year old Siohban Nicole Lee, of Takoma Park was found early Friday morning on the corner of 5th and Nicholson Streets N.W. in D.C.'s Brightwood neighborhood. She had been shot in the head.
D.C. Police are announcing they've arrested 21-year old Alexander Buckley and charged him with her murder. Detectives say the two knew each other. However, the extent of their relationship is still a mystery to police, and the teen's father, who claims he doesn't know Buckley.
Sean Lee, the father, told WUSA*9 he is still looking for answers.
He said, "hopefully with letting (D.C. Police) do their investigation I will find out more information and we'll have an understanding of why it happened."
Lee described his daughter as being "happy-go-lucky. She would do anything for anyone."
Lee worked at the Giant supermarket in the Blair Park Plaza in Silver Spring. Her loved ones say the last time they heard from her she was leaving work and headed home.
Buckley who has been in trouble with the law before is now facing a charge of First Degree Felony Murder.
