COLLEGE PARK, Md. (WUSA) -- According to a fire spokesperson, firefighters have extinguished a trash can fire at the Stamp Student Union on the University of Maryland campus on Thursday morning.
The trash can was located in the ball room.
No one was injured in the fire.
The building will reopen soon, say officials.
