PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, Md. (WUSA) -- D.C. Metro residents often boast of the area's basketball prowess, pointing to successful high school programs and talented products who have emerged from the region.
Now those residents, at least the ones in Prince George's County, have some confirmation to cling to.
Chris Palmer, an ESPN NBA Insider, tweeted his list of the "top 5 talent-rich basketball hotbeds" in the country and Prince George's County made the cut.
Palmer ranked Prince George's County number three on his top five, the one area on said list that is not a major metropolis.
Chicago topped the list, followed by Los Angeles at number two, Prince George's County at three, Seattle at four, and Baltimore at number five.
