STERLING, Va. (WUSA) -- Loudoun County authorities are investigating after two similar thefts of car batteries in Sterling, Va.
In one incident on Monday afternoon, batteries were stolen from five cars in a vehicle storage lot in the 100 block on Locust Lane.
In the second incident, also reported on Monday afternoon, batteries were stolen from three vehicles that belong to a moving company in the 21600 block of Stonetree Court.
In this case, there was a possible suspect and vehicle description. The suspect is described as a Black male in his 20s about 5'11" tall with a medium build and close-cropped hair. The car he used was described as a late 90s or early 2000 model, green Honda with four doors.
