WASHINGTON (WUSA) -- The Lab Rescue of the L.R.C.P. brought in purebred chocolate Labrador Koda for Petline 9 on 9News at Noon.
According to the rescue group, Koda is 5 years old, neutered, heartworm negative and is up to date on his shots. He's also about 65 pounds.
They say that he is best for children 10 and up and would prefer to be the only dog in the house, though he does get along with the other labs at his foster home.
Koda's foster family believes he would do better in a suburban or rural setting rather than an urban one, and that it would be good to have a fenced yard.
Koda is easygoing and enjoys going on walks, chilling around the house, chew toys and balls. He also enjoys swimming.
Koda walks well on a leash with an EZ Walk harness and knows sit and paw commands. He is housebroken and crate trained.
