BETHESDA, Md., (WUSA) -- A popular baby stroller is being recalled.
The recall affects some 96,000 Kolcraft Jeep Liberty brand strollers.
The wheel rim can fracture and fly off when the inner tube ruptures.
The flying projectile can pose a risk of injury to your body and your property.
Kolcraft has receive 18 reports of adults and children who were injured when the rim flew off.
The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission says parents and caregivers should using the stroller immediately.
The three wheel Kolcraft Jeep Liberty brand strollers impacted by the recall start with JL031, JL032, JL034, JL035 or JL036.
The model number can be found printed on a white tag on the rear upper center of the seat back pad.
They were made between June 2010 and September 2011.
