WASHINGTON, DC (WUSA) --  A new study shows there's a tremendous wage gap between female and male college graduates.

The American Association of University Women says among recent grads, women earn $8,000 less than men.

Their average salary adds up to $35,296.  While the average earnings for men is $42,918.
